Wasted

People tend to over exert themselves with the matters of this dreadful world. There is always a choice of whether you help yourself or help the person sitting next to you. Most of the time decisions are made based upon what benefits you. What doesn’t benefit you now may benefit you sometime in a later life. Always look for those who would help you along the way in life. As said in Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. If you refuse to seek the help then learn to examine yourself. Take the time to figure out when are you “most complete, most integrated”? Return to the place, that situation, to regain the healthy sense of self that is so easily lost in our worlds clamor and chaos. What we need to do is channel our ingenuity to something positive. Don’t be so consumed in life’s problems. Sometimes we waste our time and energy on petty things that we feel isn’t going to benefit us but if we make the best of it, it just might. It might even add some closure to a part of your life. Moments of being most complete, most integrated, have come either in complete solitude or when being part of a body made of many people going in the same direction. A vivid example is a great symphony orchestra, where each instrument is completely necessary for the whole; a violin can not take place of a trombone, nor the cymbals of a harp; and there are even more times when the lowly triangle is the focus of the music.

We all face dangers and heartaches in life because we live in a lost and fallen world. But in the midst of all these difficulties we can be absolutely confident that we are no left alone to deal with them.

You Create Your Own Posion

“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done” (Luke 22:42)

Life probably has some individuals wondering what happened or why it happened. Lets just say the end of life has already been written out for us, but it is up to us to decide how we live this life we are given. Between the days from which we were born, until the day we leave this earth, is what we write ourselves. Yes, God has plans for us, but it is free will which has us choose whether we want to live by His rules or not. It says in Luke that if the Father is willing, He can take what ever cup we are drinking from away, and to let His will be done, not ours. The big word there is "if".

“Father, if you are willing…” (Luke 22:42)
Why does it have to be “if”? Why can't He just do it? Well it is "if" instead of "Father, willingly" because our Father gives us a chance to make the right decision. Nine times out of ten we always make the wrong choice and that is when we suffer. Why must we suffer? So we may learn a lesson or two for us not to do it again. As for others it takes going to hell and back for them to realize what their doing is displeasing in God's eyes. Depend on the Lord in whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. (Proverbs 16:3) Everyone on this earth has plans in which they live by these plans. The type of life you live is the cup you drink out of.

“Take this cup from me…” (Luke 22:42)
You create your own poison; there is no ingredient to the perfect death. You choose weather you want life or you want death. Sadly everyone has chosen death. Not in the sense that they are dead, but tomorrow is never promised. They just decide to live a life without any salvation or a real solid foundation. Their lives are dried up, rough, cracked and bruised. People are dying from the inside out do to the bitterness of their own poison. What if there is an antidote to your own poison? Something we can take to make the pain go away? Well there is, if you're willing to humble yourself to make things right. It may sound difficult, but "if" the Lord is willing to take your cup away, from then on it is simple.

“Yet not my will, but yours be done” (Luke 22:42)
We some how have to give up the will we have to live by His rules and not ours. The Lord gave a few simply boundaries and people make it so hard to obey them.
Through God you gain eternal life, which is if you obey His every command and die to self. Dying to self is to kill off any temptations or habits you may have, ranging from sexual immortality to a worldly sin. You can even kill off the old you so you may start new. Do not change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but be changed within by a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to decide what God wants for you; you will know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect. (Romans 12:2) Remember in time things will heal. God takes up the troubles we have in order for us to live by him. Don’t be confused that once you give in, God is going to make everything right in a quick flash. It doesn’t work in that manner. God uses elements that people in this world have very little of:

Power, Patience, Protection, Love, Strength, Forgiveness, Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding.

God has the POWER to make plans and to punish the corrupt (Isaiah 14:27). He gives strength to those who are tired and more power to those who are weak. (Isaiah 40:29) God waits PATIENTLY for you. God is our protection…the God of Jacob is our defender. (Psalm 46:1, 11) God shows us his great LOVE by having Christ die for us (Romans 5:6, 8). God provides KNOWLEDGE and WISDOM to those who ask for it. God is a FORGIVING God. If we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins, because we can trust God to do what is right. He will cleanse us from all the wrongs we have done. (1 John 1:9)

We all should humble ourselves so we may live a righteous and noble life. We all would like to drink from the “Cup of Life”. Jesus Christ is the life we breathe and His blood is what we drink. Jesus is the antidote we all seek for. We all have created our own poison in life: SEX, DRUGS, MONEY, ADDICTION or KNOWLEDGE, POWER, SUCCESS, A LOVER. See now your poison can either hurt you or help you.

They say that actions speak louder then words, but words can seep under cracked skin. Inflicting physical pain is nothing compared to the poison that we hear or drink. It was never said that your own poison can kill you, but it just depends on how you decide to take it.
